Planned giving

Jewish Fund for the Future (JFF) is the planned giving and endowment arm of the Jewish Federation of Delaware. Established to ensure the vitality and future of the Jewish community in Delaware, the Brandywine Valley, in Israel and around the world.

The funds at JFF are cementing the Jewish Federations of Delaware’s role as our community’s resources for perpetual funding of Jewish causes. JFF includes endowment fund of Federation beneficiary agencies, several area synagogues and over 100 individuals and families.

Endowment. n.    /en'doum?nt/

The creation of a fund, or property donated, as a source of income to an institution, individual or group. A natural gift, ability or quality.

Our pride in today’s Delaware Jewish community and the miracle of Israel is the result of the unwavering generosity of thousands of individuals and families. These generous donors learned the lessons of the past, understand the immediacy of the present and look with hope to the future. The question is, what will that future look like. . . and how will it be paid for?

No matter how successful the Federation’s Annual Campaign, it will NEVER be able to provide for the growing needs of our Jewish homeland in Israel and for new facilities, programs and services necessary to enhance local Jewish life. That is why it is critical for today’s Jewish philanthropists to help provide the financial base upon which further generations of Jews can build.

Please consider creating your permanent endowment with the Jewish Federation of Delaware’s Jewish Fund for the Future. Let your endowment be the link in the chain that adds strength to our community, and acts as a beacon of light to future generations of Jews around the corner and around the world.
