What is Live Generously Mitzvah Day? It’s a community-wide day of service sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Delaware that is open to all members of the community. We’ll be engaged in projects such as painting, cooking, yard clean up, collecting and distributing goods for the needy through programs at Emmanuel Dining Hall, Ronald McDonald House, Sojourner’s Place, Sunday Breakfast Mission, etc. that will make improvements to our community and help those less fortunate. This is a “Rain or Shine” event.
All assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited.
There are no fees to participate in Live Generously Mitzvah Day. If you’d like to help defray the cost of food, t-shirts, supplies, etc., please consider a voluntary contribution of $36 per family. You can make your donation when you register.
