By Glenn M. Engelmann, Esq., President
On behalf of the Board of the Directors, staff and beneficiary agencies of the Jewish Federation of Delaware, we welcome you to Delaware – the First State. Jews have lived in the territory that became Delaware since 1671. Now over 18,000 Jews make their home in a community that reaches across the border into southern Pennsylvania and is both diverse and united. We may be varied in our backgrounds and beliefs, but we are united in our desire to carry out the mission of the Jewish people: tikkun olam – to repair the world.
