YLD Clusters

Giving your hobbies and interests a social life.

Are you looking to meet new people with similar interests? Or perhaps you’re looking to take up a whole new hobby. These are a few reasons the Young Leadership Division has developed YLD Clusters. A Cluster is a theme-based interest, hobby or activity group. It’s led by a volunteer coordinator, who will facilitate events and introduce you to others with the same interest. Make new friends or gather with old friends and help build a Delaware community that fits you, through the Clusters!

Dining Out Cluster Kick-off

Join the Dining Out Cluster for our kick-off event - we've got a private room and a custom tasting menu lined up for what should be a fabulous evening.

Shabbat for 100

March 1, 2013 

Friday, March 1, over one hundred YLD members will share a Shabbat meal with complete strangers. 

Shabbat for 100 is matching hosts with guests for shared Shabbat meals across Delaware and the Brandywine Valley.

Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for organizations that serve youth and for individuals concerned about the safety of children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors.

Young Leadership Division (YLD)

The Jewish Federation of Delaware's Young Leadership connects Jewish singles, couples and families in their 20’s, 30's and 40’s in social, educational, philanthropic and social action initiatives. The Young Leadership Division believes that the future of the Jewish community depends on the development of new leaders and on the philanthropic efforts of our generation and those who follow. When you get involved with YLD, your interests, your passions, and your actions have a hand in making a difference locally and around the world.
