COVID-19 Resources & Information

We are coordinating with all Jewish-affiliated organizations in the region to assess and address emerging needs.

If you need help or know of someone in the community who needs help, the following resources are available:

  • Contact Jewish Family Services at (302)781-4537, Monday - Friday 9 AM - 9 PM, where social workers will be operating a free & confidential emotional support hotline. 
  • Contact Jewish Federation of Delaware at JFDinfo@ShalomDel.org and your email will be answered within 1 business day. 
  • If this is a life threatening emergency, call 911. 
  • JFS is providing REMOTE support to clients. If you have questions, concerns, or would like more information about telehealth, please call (302)478-9411.
    JFS OnCall, a free & confidential emotional support hotline. Call (302)781-4537 to speak with one of our experienced social workers.

  • With schools closed statewide due to COVID-19, No Kid Hungry is encouraging families to text FOOD or COMIDA to 877-877 to find free food distribution sites organized by school districts in their communities.

  • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, New Castle County will begin to offer Public WIFI at various locations throughout the county.
