Super Sunday Frequently Asked Questions
What is Super Sunday?
Super Sunday is our biggest fundraising day of the year! But it's more than that. It's a day in which volunteers and supporters of JFD gather together to ensure our Annual Campaign remains strong. Volunteers make phone calls to donors, thanking them for their support and securing their support for the upcoming year.
When is Super Sunday?
Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 AM. We will have a phone call demonstration and training session for those new to Super Sunday. You can volunteer for any length of time, and indicate your preference on the registration form.
Where is Super Sunday?
At the Siegel JCC, primarily in the auditorium. We will have a check in area when you walk in the front lobby doors and friendly staff and Super Sunday ambassadors will direct you where you need to go on the day.
What should I bring?
A can-do attitude, your cell phone and phone charger are most the important items to bring. We will have breakfast beginning at 8:30 AM and will provide refreshments throughout the day.
Where does the money raised go?
Funds raised on Super Sunday go to Jewish Federation of Delaware's Annual Campaign, which is an unrestricted fund that supports our local Jewish community in Delaware, our national and international partners.
What do I say on a phone call?
Don't worry! We will provide materials and training during Super Sunday and we have many Super Sunday veterans to help answer questions and provide demo calls to show you how it's done.
What if I don't want to make phone calls on Super Sunday?
That's okay! Volunteers may also write Thank You notes to those donors who have already given to the 2024 Annual Campaign. Indicate your volunteer preference on our registration page.
I still have more questions.
