January 25, 2022, Wilmington, DE – Jewish Federation of Delaware launched its new website at ShalomDelaware.org. The website serves as the portal to Jewish Delaware and was evolved to provide and enhance user-friendly experiences. Improvements include a responsive design, site navigation, updated and more robust content, community calendar, event registration, and a secure donation platform.

Jewish Federation of Delaware is a recipient of TWO Gold Awards in the 2021 MARCOM AWARDS competition in the Nonprofit Annual Report and Nonprofit Magazine Categories.

Special acknowledgement to Alex Tornek for her graphic design expertise in putting together the annual report and to the j-VOICE Monthly Team of Jaidy Schweers, Editor and Carolyn Katwan, Art Director.

The results of the national competition were announced on June 11th with Federation receiving a second place award for its We Grow Stronger TOGETHER PR Campaign and honorable mention in the Page Design/Magazine category for its publication, j-VOICE Monthly.

May 4, 2021, Wilmington, DE – The Jewish Federation of Delaware was named a winner in the 27th Annual Communicator Awards in the Annual Report/Non-Profit category for its 2019-2020 IMPACT Report to the Community, “In Challenging Times, We Grow Stronger TOGETHER”.

April 22, 2021, Wilmington, DE – The Jewish Federation of Delaware has received two awards recognizing
creativity and marketing excellence from the 2021 Hermes Creative Awards (HermesAwards.com), an
international awards competition recognizing outstanding work while promoting the philanthropic nature of
marketing and communications professionals.

April 5, 2021, Wilmington, DE – Jewish Federation of Delaware has landed two First-Place winning entries in the
Delaware Press Association’s 2021 Communications Contest.

"April 1, 2021, Wilmington, DE – Jewish Federation of Delaware has earned the highest ratings from the top three evaluators of nonprofits: a Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator, a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar and a Top-Rated Award from GreatNonprofits. Federation is currently the only nonprofit in Delaware to earn the highest ratings from all three industry evaluators."

February 17, 2021 – Jewish Federation of Delaware announced today that it has been named a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit” by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews of charities and nonprofits. Federation is the first nonprofit in Delaware to earn their 2021 distinction as well as continuing to receive the most positive reviews in the First State.

February 16, 2021 – Jewish Federation of Delaware announced today that it has earned a 2021 Platinum GuideStar Profile Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. By sharing metrics that highlight progress Jewish Federation of Delaware is making toward its mission and helping donors move beyond simplistic ways of nonprofit evaluation such as overhead ratios.

Federation of Delaware is named a Bronze winner in the 2020 Summit Creative Award competition for its
Integrated Campaign, We Grow Stronger TOGETHER.

Boca Raton, FL, June 29 – Human leukocyte antigens (HLA) – diverse genetic markers on our cells that help match patients and donors for bone marrow transplant – are the focus of a new study led by the Gift of Life Marrow Registry.

August 24, 2020, Wilmington, DE – The Jewish Federation of Delaware has received three

August 18, 2020, Wilmington, DE – Jewish Federation of Delaware was named a winner of a 2020 dot-COMM Gold Award and a 2020 Videographer Award of Distinction for its video and song, We Grow Stronger TOGETHER, created by LA-based indie/folk trio Distant Cousins in collaboration with Jewish teens from Delaware and Arad, Israel.
